Benakuma Council Hit 66.28% Projects Realization Despite Insecurity Threats

Benakuma Mayor Elias Ihimbru, announced that his council budgetary realization for 2021 hit an impressive 66.28% despite the insecurity threats on contractors.

     The lamented that his council went through a lot given that investment projects were always launched and relaunched and contractors were feet dragging to submit bids thereby rendering the procurement process cumbersome.

          Nonetheless, he revealed, the council  executed a good lot of projects for the beneficiaries which were a success despite the challenges faced and actually emerged victorious in providing Shelter, Educational facilities, provided comfort to pedestrians on foot tracks and rehabilitated streets and provided jobs for youths especially students.

         These revelations were made public during a council session on Friday 25 March, 2022 devoted to examine and vote the 2021 administrative, Management and Account.
